LEARNING

Since 1998 we have home schooled our children. As youngsters, they participated in a Steiner playgroup. After traveling around Australia, learning as we journeyed for a year, we decided to continue our slightly different educational pathway and embraced a Steiner based curriculum (Oak Meadow) and completing our academic work at home, integrating school work in to our daily farm routine.

This has been a learning process for us all. At Riverlee Farm, we plan to continue to incorporate education in to our daily lives, and while our younger children will be working on their school work for a while yet, we plan to extend this purpose to include workshops and events that will enable others to engage in sustainability education.
